Accommodation Agreement

1. Booking & Reservation

  • All bookings must be made through our official reservation portal. Verbal or informal arrangements are not binding.
  • A valid government-issued photo ID (passport or driving licence) and a live selfie are required to complete any reservation.
  • Reservations are confirmed only upon receipt of the full initial payment (bond + first week's rent).
  • Management reserves the right to decline any booking at its sole discretion.

2. Payment Terms

  • Bond: A refundable bond equal to 2 weeks' rent is required at the time of booking.
  • Rent in Advance: The first 1 week's rent is payable in advance at the time of booking.
  • Accepted payment methods are Stripe (card) and Bank Transfer.
  • For bank transfers, a valid transfer receipt must be uploaded within 24 hours of booking confirmation.
  • All prices are in AUD ($) and inclusive of GST where applicable.

3. Bond & Refund Policy

  • The bond is held for the duration of your stay and will be refunded within 14 business days of departure, subject to inspection.
  • Deductions may be made for damages, excessive cleaning, missing items, or outstanding rent.
  • If the room is left in satisfactory condition, the full bond will be returned to the original payment method.

4. Check-In & Check-Out

  • Check-in is available from 2:00 PM on the day of arrival.
  • Check-out must be completed by 10:00 AM on the day of departure.
  • Early check-in or late check-out may be arranged subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
  • Guests must present their original ID document at check-in for verification.

5. House Rules

  • Quiet hours are observed between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM. Excessive noise may result in eviction without refund.
  • Smoking is strictly prohibited in all indoor areas. Designated smoking areas are provided.
  • No illegal substances or activities are permitted on the premises.
  • Pets are not allowed unless prior written approval is obtained from management.
  • Guests are responsible for keeping their room and shared spaces clean and tidy.
  • Sub-letting or allowing unregistered guests to stay overnight is prohibited.

6. Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations made more than 7 days before the check-in date will receive a full refund minus a $50 administration fee.
  • Cancellations made within 7 days of the check-in date will forfeit the first week's rent. The bond will be refunded.
  • No-shows or cancellations on the day of check-in will forfeit the entire initial payment.

7. Liability & Damages

  • Long Horn Pub is not responsible for the loss, theft, or damage of personal belongings.
  • Guests are liable for any damage caused to the property, furnishings, or equipment during their stay.
  • The cost of repairs or replacements will be deducted from the bond or charged to the guest's payment method.

8. Privacy & Data Protection

  • Personal information collected during the booking process is used solely for reservation management and identity verification.
  • Identity documents and selfies are stored securely and will not be shared with third parties except as required by law.
  • By completing a booking, you consent to the collection and storage of your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

9. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Australia. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia.
